Who Sleepyhead Is Built For
Sleepyhead was founded by Steven Van Alen, a college student frustrated with worn-out dorm mattresses. The brand targets students who want to transform uncomfortable institutional bedding into a genuinely restful sleep space. Their toppers come in college-specific sizes and feature advanced memory foam infused with copper and gel to promote cooler, cleaner sleep. Every topper includes a washable cover designed to keep college germs at bay while bringing the comfort of home to a dorm setting. If you're a student struggling with a thin, uncomfortable dorm mattress or anyone looking for a targeted sleep solution without replacing an entire bed, Sleepyhead's approach fills that gap. The brand's "good 'til graduation" warranty reflects their commitment to students whose needs span the academic years.

Common questions
What makes Sleepyhead toppers different from egg crate models?
Sleepyhead uses advanced memory foam infused with copper and gel to actively regulate temperature and provide support, whereas egg crate toppers are basic foam layers with minimal technology. The brand's materials are engineered specifically to enhance sleep quality rather than simply add cushioning.
Do the toppers fit standard dorm mattresses?
Yes, Sleepyhead designs its toppers in college-specific sizes that match dorm bed dimensions. The brand includes a washable cover with every topper to simplify maintenance in shared college housing and protect against germs.
What does the good 'til graduation warranty cover?
Sleepyhead's warranty is designed to protect your investment throughout your college years. The exact coverage details are available on their website, but the warranty emphasizes that your topper will remain supported as long as you're a student.
