Who Paint with Number Is Built For
Paint with Number targets hobbyists, beginners, and casual artists looking for a structured, low-pressure way to create finished artwork. The brand was founded in 2020 and has grown to serve over 100,000 customers worldwide. Their kits come with everything needed to complete a painting, so no prior art experience is required. The kits appeal to people seeking mindful activities, gift-givers hunting for unique presents, and anyone curious about painting without the intimidation of a blank canvas. Whether you're working through stress relief, looking for family activities, or building confidence in creative skills, Paint with Number positions itself as an accessible entry point into visual art.
The Paint by Numbers Kit Lineup
Paint with Number's entire product catalog consists of paint by numbers kits, with over 250 individual options available. The brand does not publicly break down kits by difficulty level, subject matter, or canvas size in their standard product descriptions, but the sheer volume suggests variety across themes and complexities. Beyond standard kits, they offer a custom kit service, which lets customers submit their own images to be converted into paint by numbers designs. These custom kits are marketed as authentic and branded, providing a personalized alternative to off-the-shelf options. The focus on both ready-made and bespoke kits positions Paint with Number as a full-service option for both impulse buyers and those seeking one-of-a-kind projects.
Pricing and Value Proposition
Paint with Number kits range from USD 30 to USD 121 across their catalog, covering entry-level to premium options. This pricing spans typical DIY craft kit territory, where smaller or simpler designs sit at the lower end and larger or more intricate pieces command higher prices. The brand emphasizes fast and free shipping as a core differentiator, claiming to be one of the fastest shipping websites in the industry and offering 2-day US delivery. Free shipping removes a hidden cost many craft retailers add, making the advertised kit price closer to the final checkout total.
What to Confirm Before Ordering
Before purchasing, verify the kit dimensions and canvas size to ensure it fits your workspace and time commitment—larger canvases require more hours to complete. Confirm that all supplies (paints, brushes, canvas, and instructions) are included in the kit price, since some craft brands charge separately for materials. If choosing a custom kit, review Paint with Number's submission process, turnaround time, and any additional fees, as these details affect delivery and total cost. Finally, review the return or satisfaction policy if it's important to you, as this information was not provided in the brand's public materials and should be clarified directly with customer service before committing to a larger purchase.
